Dr Fakeeh is recognized as a key influencer who has helped to shape Saudi Arabia’s healthcare landscape. He has grown Fakeeh Care Group from a single hospital to a major healthcare group, adopting an academic care delivery model due to his focus on to medical education and training.
His professional commitment has not only helped to quadruple Fakeeh Care’s revenues and profits over the last seven years, but also made Fakeeh Care Group synonymous with international quality by meeting or exceeding many global benchmarks.
Under Dr Fakeeh’s leadership, Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences has grown in volume, quality and scope. Dr Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, the Group’s flagship facility, offers the private sector’s largest residency training program for physicians, leading to Saudi Board certification in multiple specialties.
He has received numerous business and industry honors and, under his stewardship, Fakeeh Care Group has won the prestigious King Khaled Sustainability Award for four consecutive years.
Dr Fakeeh is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Saudi Council for Healthcare Specialties, and a member of University of Jeddah’s Investment Board. He sits on the Advisory Boards of Mecca Healthcare Cluster, Um Al Qura Medical School, and Rabigh University.
