Given the location and size of the growth, a sternotomy is a procedure involving the cutting through of the breastbone. The NICU doctors acted swiftly to stabilize the infant’s condition, and focused on controlling\bleeding and stabilizing vital signs. Successful adrenal tumor extraction surgery on a patient with hypertension and potassium deficiency. The 38-year-old woman had suffered for years from hypertension and potassium deficiency, despite receiving treatment, the symptoms persisted, after tests she was diagnosed with a tumor in the adrenal gland. The operation was a complete success, it took only two hours and by the grace of Allah, the patient was discharged from the hospital after just two days without any complications as her blood pressure and potassium returned to normal levels without the need of any medication.

The Ophthalmology Center, led by Dr. Muhammad Bazil, Retina Consultant, successfully diagnosed and performed laser treatment for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) for a premature baby born at 28 weeks of pregnancy. He was suffering from multiple comorbidities, including retinopathy of prematurity in both eyes. This emphasizes the importance of integrating roles and following the necessary medical protocols in neonatal intensive care, periodically examining retinopathy, and then treating it directly when needed.
