Fakeeh Care Group Achieves JCI Accreditation as the First Private Healthcare Group in the Kingdom

In a new achievement reflecting its leadership, built upon a continuous commitment to achieving global quality standards and patient safety, Fakeeh Care Group has obtained the Joint Commission International Enterprise Accreditation (JCI Enterprise Accreditation), thus becoming the first healthcare group in the private sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to earn this prestigious accreditation.

This accreditation represents a significant milestone in the Group's journey. It is granted to multi-facility healthcare organizations that commit to applying the highest quality standards uniformly across all their locations. This goes beyond evaluating direct medical services to examine every part of the organization: from governance and strategy to methods of purchasing equipment, medical sterilization, contracting, and other influential details. This ensures that everything within the Group operates according to the highest global standards of quality and professionalism.

In his initial comment on this achievement, Dr. Mazen Fakeeh, Chairman of Fakeeh Care Group, stated: "We are proud to be the first private healthcare group in the Kingdom to receive this advanced global accreditation. This achievement would not have been possible without our deep belief that quality and patient safety are not merely goals, but a culture deeply rooted in every part of our system. We dedicate this excellence to our medical and administrative staff, and to everyone who has placed their trust in our services. We promise everyone to continue moving forward towards further leadership and sustainable development."

Fakeeh Care Group had previously marked a historic precedent in 2006 when Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah received the first Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for a private hospital in the Kingdom. This strengthened its position as a pioneer in healthcare quality and solidified its approach based on continuous development and building trust with patients and the community.

Obtaining the JCI Enterprise Accreditation is a qualitative leap beyond traditional accreditation. It includes a comprehensive evaluation of governance structures, institutional policies, resource coordination, and operational integration between the various facilities within the healthcare system. This achievement affirms Fakeeh Group's ability to standardize practices and standards, contributing to improving patient experience, enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthening the ability to make decisions based on accurate data and indicators.

It is worth mentioning that Fakeeh Care Group's attainment of the JCI Enterprise Accreditation is the culmination of a journey spanning over 47 years of excellence. It stands as an international testament to its leadership and deserving of trust, and a strong indicator of the Group's ability to move towards a brighter and more innovative future in the healthcare sector, while reinforcing its role in supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 through its effective contribution to the development of an integrated and sustainable healthcare model.
