MD, FRCPC, FACP, MSc Chief Executive Officer - Medical Fakeeh

Prof. Mohammed A. Qutub currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Medical Fakeeh in Jeddah. He is an interventional cardiologist and physician executive with more than 15 years of experience spanning hospital leadership, clinical governance, and academic medicine.

Since assuming the role of CEO in 2023, Prof. Qutub has led the organization through a period of financial and operational transformation, focusing on operational strengthening, and strategic development. His leadership focuses on enhancing clinical quality, improving operational efficiency, and expanding specialized healthcare services while maintaining international standards of patient safety and care. Under his leadership, Medical Fakeeh has secured and maintained key healthcare accreditations including CBAHI, JCI, Enterprise JCI, and CAP.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Prof. Qutub serves as Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at King Abdulaziz University, where he contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and supports clinical research in cardiovascular medicine.

Prior to his current role, he held several senior leadership positions including Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer at Medical Fakeeh. He also served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Chairman of the Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Unit at King Abdulaziz University Hospital — overseeing academic, clinical, and operational functions across both departments.
