Panos becamea qualified accountant with PwC in Athens and soon became a senior leader inthe financial services assurance team where he advised and delivered thebiggest merger in the banking industry.

Hemoved into banking sector initially as Group Finance Manager of Piraeus Bankand then he joined National Bank of Greece, a Regional leader in SE Europe with banking subsidiaries in SE Europe, US and Turkey. NBG was the largest listedentity in ATHEX with ADRs trading in NYSE. During his 10 year tenor implementeda robust IFRS and US GAAP financial reporting process compliant with SOX requirements, managed the Regulatory capital team and executed a series of M&A and Debt raising transactions while progressing to Deputy Group CFO role.  

In 2014 he moved into Insurance & Health industry when joined MetLife, a global leader in Life Insurer and for 8 years he held various Regional CFOroles across Europe and Middle East & Africa and also led the EMEA Planning& Analysis unit.
