Dr.Ziyad Alharbi is a Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive & Burn Surgery atDr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital and Academic Faculty Member at Fakeeh Care Academy andFakeeh College of Medical Sciences. He performs a wide range of procedures inthe field of both Aesthetic / Cosmetic & Reconstructive Procedures afterTissue Damage, Accidents, Trauma, Tumors, Burns and Wounds. Dr. Ziyad Alharbiholds the European Board and the German Board of Plastic Surgery. In additionhe also holds the German Fellowship in Hand and Reconstructive MicroscopicSurgery. He also obtained the German Doctorate in Research to regeneratedamaged tissues using fat stem cells technology and the use of skin substitutesto treat burns and complications resulting from them such as scars, defects andchronic wounds as well as deformities. He was appointed as Head of the BurnUnit and Leading Consultant at the Department of Plastic and ReconstructiveSurgery at Aachen University Hospital in Germany until his return to hishomeland. In addition to his surgical qualifications, Dr. Ziyad Alharbipractices research work by conducting scientific studies and publishing them ininternational journals, in addition to his participation in international booksand conferences to enrich scientific studies and research in the field.Furthermore, Dr. Alharbi serves as the Saudi National Delegate at theIntentional Society of Plastic Regenerative Surgeons.

Inaddition to his academic and professional qualifications, Dr. Ziyad Alharbiholds the Executive Master Degree in Healthcare and Hospital Management as wellas the Master Degree in Medical Education so that such degrees shaped him tolead in both hospitals and academia with proper integration to expand moreservices. Dr. Ziyad Alharbi also holds the Accreditation Certification byFAIMER in USA. In addition to his clinical service. Dr. Ziyad Alharbi iscurrently leading the Fakeeh Care Academy on group level through supervisingFakeeh Care Group Centers at Jeddah, Riyadh, Madina and Dubai in terms of theacademic structure. This include, but not limited to, the Saudi Board Residencyand Clinical Fellowship Programs, for Physicians , Nursing Education, ClinicalPharmacy and Medical Sciences Education as well as Allied Health Education,Clinical Scholarships, Clinical Training, Executive and Leadership Education,Continuous Professional Development, Continuing Medical Education, Life Supportand Clinical Skills Training, Patient Education, symposia, workshops andconferences in addition to E-Learning Platforms and staff development programs.Furthermore, Dr. Alharbi is committed to establish national and internationalcollaborations through creating high value and qualitative initiatives on groupand corporate level.

Dr.Alharbi serves in different national and international boards, councils andcommittees. He is a member at different committees within the Saudi Commissionfor Health Specialties in addition to Medical Colleges and Universities. Inaddition to that, he is appointed as the Sec. General for the Dr. SolimanFakeeh Awards in Medical Research, Innovation, Health Promotion and MedicalEducation in collaboration with the Saudi Research Development and InnovationAuthority.
